CDL A Truck Driver OTR

*Position: CDL-A Truck Driver*



*Summary:*

_We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. This position requires a professional driver who can operate independently, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and possess excellent time management skills._



*Duties/Responsibilities:*

· Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on a bi-weekly route from Salt Lake City, UT, to Lexington, KY. Returning trips will require multiple picks.

· Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition.

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, trip reports, and any required paperwork.

· Communicate effectively with dispatch, reporting any delays, incidents, or issues encountered during the route.

· Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including proper loading and unloading of cargo.

· Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hours of service.

· Maintain a clean and organized truck cab.

· Provide excellent customer service at all delivery and pickup locations.



*Education and Experience:*



· Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.

· Minimum of 2 years of CDL-A driving experience, preferably on long-haul routes.

· Experience with solo driving and the ability to work independently.

· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements.

· Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Must be able to lift and maneuver cargo as required.

· Flexibility to work varying hours and days, depending on route schedules.

Pay: $0.40 - $0.49 per mile
